kay. here goes.
we all know bout the "a href-- codes ryt??
for starters, it's how you can link to another site? kay??
here's the code:
<.a href="http://soulgraphix.com"> HERE <./a>
NOTE: i put the periods cause it will activate if i didn't. if you will be using this code, REMOVE the periods. kay? it won't work if you won't remove those.
the blue one is the URL of the site that you wanna link, or in short, it's the "destination."
the red one is how your text will appear in yer page.
ex.
it will appear like this::
~~~ HERE ~~~
gets??
here's another one.
you know those graphics we see at some grahic site?
with the "a href-- codes??
you can change the destination site of the graphic by just changing the URL inside the
quotation marks or the code.
ex: <.a href="http://blahblah.com"><.img src="http://dl2.glitter-graphics.net/pub/264/264402yn6jhaoiz2.gif" width=100 height=100 border=0><./a>
the yellow one is the url of the site where you got the pic/avatar/graphic.
this is the one that you will be changing. just replace the present URL with the one you want.
the red one is the code you SHOULDN'T change. why?? it will mess up the pic/avatar/graphic.
preview:
------------- this is the one with un edited URL (i made the site up.dont know it if exists.)
------- while ths one is edited. kay?? (soulgraphixx.i lab it)
all clear?? haha,
i posted this 'cause a lot of people are confused. hope i helped.
mwah.
